Barbara Jean Clatterbuck's Obituary
Barbara Jean Clatterbuck, 58, of Boston died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 16, 1953 in Rappahannock County to the late Stonewall Jackson and Dorothy Wharton Southard.
Mrs. Clatterbuck loved the simple things in life. She loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers and taking walks as well as raising her fish.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Harvey Jackson Clatterbuck, Jr., four children, Heather Lynn Rector and her husband, Chris of Warrenton, Brian Lee Clatterbuck of Warrenton, Patsy Hope Goolsby and her husband, Steve of Madison, and Nathan Jackson Clatterbuck of Boston, VA, and four siblings, William Southard of Flint Hill, VA, Bonnie Skouronski of Washington, VA, Donnie Southard of Castleton and Brenda Jenkins of Sperryville.
Additional survivors include six grandchildren, Tucker Glenn Clatterbuck, Bradley Wade Goolsby, Marcus Tyler Goolsby, Brandon Stephen Goolsby, Christian Ian Goolsby and Jackson Alexander Clatterbuck, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Carl Menefee officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
