Audrey Irene Mayhugh's Obituary
Audrey Irene Mayhugh, 89 of Culpeper died Friday, November 7, 2008 at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. She was born January 1, 1919 in Rappahannock County to the late Henry C. and Victoria Pauline Scott Corder.
Mrs. Mayhugh enjoyed gardening, reading and dancing. She was a wonderful mother and friend to all and was very giving of her time and money to those in need.
She is survived by her sons, Robert G. Corder of Culpeper, Thomas L. Jenkins and his wife, Nancy of Alexandria, one brother, Edward H. Corder of Newport News, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Mayhugh, and five siblings, William C. Corder, Clyde Gibson Corder, Julia Frances Dowell, Vivian Pearl Jackson and Elmer T. Corder.
