Audrey L. Stecher's Obituary
Audrey L. Stecher, 83, died peacefully Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home after a brief illness surrounded by her family.
Audrey was married to Lt. Col. William F. Stecher, Jr. (U.S. Army, Retired), for 62 years.
She was born in Caldwell, Ohio and has lived in Fredericksburg for more than 30 years.
Audrey was mom to Tom and wife, Madonna, Elizabeth, Rod and wife, Laura, and wonder dog, Coco. She was grandma to eight grandkids and great-grandma to nine. She has two siblings, Jimmy and Mary Jane, living in Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Elizabeth.
Audrey’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Allensworth officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery with her husband.
In lieu of flowers, Audrey’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Medi Home Health and Hospice, 125 Olde Greenwich Drive, Suite 150, Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
