Audrey M. Schindel's Obituary
Audrey M. Schindel, 82, of King George County passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leonard Schindel; son, Windy Schindel; daughter, Cindy Simmons; granddaughters, Christa Rorrer (Roger), Nikki Lewis (Brad), and Angela Stafford; sister, Joyce Ann Fisher (Donnie) of Waynesboro; seven great-grandchildren; and two special nieces.
Audrey’s family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 8330 Fletcher’s Chapel Road, King George, where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Reaves officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Audrey’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
