Athena Penelope Vidal's Obituary
Athena Penelope Vidal, age 1, passed away on January 3, 2025. She was born on February 4, 2023, in Fredericksburg, VA.
Despite facing significant medical challenges, Athena was the happiest little girl. She loved spending time with her mom, playing and reading together, cuddling with her dad, and laughing with her siblings. One of the most cherished memories was when Athena sat on her own for the first time; her pride was radiant, and her family’s excitement overflowed. Her strength and joy were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Everywhere she went, Athena brought joy and happiness to so many, even strangers. Her radiant smile and warm presence left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who met her. She had an extraordinary gift for spreading love and light, reminding us all of the beauty and resilience of the human spirit.
Athena is survived by her parents, Xiomara and Alfred; her brothers, Sawyer and Matthew; her grandparents, Ana, Nelson, Biamnerys, and Alex; and many other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held in Athena’s honor on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
