Atha Emogene "Jean" Haught's Obituary
Atha Emogene “Jean” Haught, 65, of Reva went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 03, 2011 at Culpeper Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born June 6, 1946 in Martin, Kentucky to Earl Caudill and the late Pattie Frances Caudill.
Jean loved God and her family, and she was very much loved in return.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas R. Haught, and four children, Pattie Theis and her husband, David, of Culpeper; Dudley Haught and his wife, Karen, of Madison; Melinda Middlebrook and her husband, Henry, of Orange and Becky Mathes and her husband, Ronnie, of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include her grandchildren, RJ and Andrew Guinn, Daniel Theis, David and Matthew Haught, Gage Berryman, Tyler Gillow, Devyn, Kelsey, Trenton and Alexis Middlebrook, Jasmin Haught and Jacob Mathes. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Natilee, Karma, and Baylee Guinn.
Jean is also survived by her father and her stepmother, Earl and Betty Caudill of Reva, her brothers Dennis Caudill and his wife, Darlene; Bobby Caudill and his wife, Barbara; Chester Caudill and his wife, Barbara and Donald Caudill and his wife, Carol. Her surviving sisters are Glenda Settle and her husband, Doug, and Hope Crocker and her husband, Jim.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Bonnie Bell, who will especially miss her.
In addition to her mother, Jean is preceded in death by a brother, Earl Caudill, Jr. and a sister, Katherine Meadows.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 6-8p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Found and Sons chapel with Rev. Chester Caudill and Rev. Randy Albritton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Haught Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Haught, Gage Berryman, Devyn Middlebrook, Trenton Middlebrook, RJ Guinn and Andrew Guinn. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Theis and Tyler Gillow.
