Artie Jewell Jackson's Obituary
Artie Jewell Jackson, 74, of Fredericksburg went home to the Lord Wednesday May 26, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Jewell was a greeter at the Wal-Mart on Southpoint Parkway.
Jewell is survived by her husband, Nolan Jackson, three daughters, Melinda Wallin, Stacy Davis and her husband John, all of Fredericksburg, and Annette Peyton of Louisville, Kentucky, a son , William J. Jackson of Fredericksburg, two brothers, Gordon and Tom Simpson, both of Kentucky, eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Jonathan, Brandon, Alyssa, Jimmy, Steven, and Jimmy Lee, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jackie, her parents, Guy and Lilly Simpson, and numerous brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel Thursday June 3, 2010 at 11 am with Pastor Michael Reid officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
