Arthur Zak's Obituary
Arthur George Zak, 94, of Mineral, past resident of Homestead, Florida for over 25 years, died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He retired from the United States Navel Reserves after 20 years.
Arthur is survived by a daughter, Judy Zak-Popik and her husband, Mike; a son, David Zak and his wife, Margaret; two grandchildren, Beth Reiser and her husband, Scott and David Popik and his wife, Jaime and one great granddaughter, Ella Zak Reiser.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie E. Zak.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Mineral United Methodist Church with Pastor Carol Thornton officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mineral United Methodist Church, 301 Third Street, Mineral, VA 23117.
