Arthur Steven Johnson's Obituary
Arthur Steven Johnson, 58, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. He was born in Charlottesville, VA on March 25, 1967, to Angeline Johnson and the late Arthur W. Johnson.
Arthur lived a life shaped by skill, passion, and simple joys. Arthur was a great mechanic whose knowledge and hands could fix just about anything, and he took pride in his work. He was a devoted fan of the Washington Commanders, a love that began when Darrell Green first took the field, and he followed the team faithfully ever since. In addition to his mechanical talents, Arthur was a gifted cook who enjoyed preparing meals for those he cared about. He will be remembered for his talents, his loyalty, and the warmth he shared with family and friends.
Arthur is survived by his mother, Angeline Johnson; brother, Ron Johnson; nieces, Ronshelle Johnson, Eden Johnson, Bethany Johnson; nephew, Earl Johnson; great nephew, Blaine Johnson Henry; aunt, Irene Robinson; uncles, Joe Robinson, George Robinson, Roy Robinson and a host of extended family and friends.
Arthur was preceded in death by his father, Arthur W. Johnson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, with Pastor Ron Johnson officiating.
