Arthur 'Art' Dwyer's Obituary
Arthur (Art) Earl Dwyer, 69, of Culpeper died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the University of VA Medical Center. He was born February 10, 1941 in Fauquier County to Helena Hitt Dwyer and the late George Dwyer.
Mr. Dwyer was a kind hearted, hardworking man that never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy J. Dwyer, two children, Vicky Dwyer Weakley of Culpeper and Teresa Dwyer of Stanardsville, two brothers, George Dwyer and his wife, Barbara of Woodbridge and Richard Dwyer and his wife, Carolyn of Elkwood, two grandchildren, Samantha Leigh Christensen and Jessica Marie Dwyer, both of Stanardsville, and two great grandchildren, Braelyn Leigh Hawkins and Alyissa Marie Christensen, both of Stanardsville.
Preceding him in death was his father and sister, Betty Dwyer Hilton.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Mark Jenkins officiating.
