Antonio Reto Eduvane Empeño's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce that Antonio “Fed” Reto Eduvane Empeño of Culpeper has passed and joined Our Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 57. He was born January 20, 1967, in Zambales, Philippines to Alicia Empeño and the late Wilfredo Empeño.
In addition to his mother, Antonio is survived by his wife, Imelda Empeño, to whom he was married for 32 years; three children, Christian Empeño, Carlos Empeño, and Christoper Empeño; and two siblings, Lyra Empeño-Mara and Alfhred Empeño.
Antonio was a loving husband and a father whose mentorship always guided his children. His dedication as a respiratory therapist made an impact on his patients and coworkers alike, working from the Philippines to Saudi Arabia to The United States. He was extremely handy, “the MacGyver”, where he could fix anything that came his way. Antonio had a passion for adventure, traveling and biking to many places. He had a green thumb and enjoyed tending his garden. At each gathering, you could find him taking pictures to capture and preserve the many memories shared together.
The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
