Tony was such a gentleman. Whenever I greeted Tony, I always knew I would receive a smile and a kind word. I will remember him with extreme fondness, a great man as well as a loving husband and father.
My very best thoughts and prayers are with his family and they celebrate the wonderful life of this good man.
Sincerely yours,
Courtland Meyer
Dear Tony, remember me, Morris W. Peters? All of the many times that we talked about farming and our early lives. Each time we met you were like a magnet to me. You were a little older and wiser than I was. The beauty of our relationship was formed around our conversations about farming and our mutual love of nature in this world. It was so interesting to hear you talk about your farming experiences as I would always draw attention to New Zealand and Australia and the way of life there. You always came across as a very gentle person. Remember the times you would buy hay from me and I would deliver to your farm? I'll never forget my last load of hay I delivered to you. You were not present, and I fell off the back of my truck, when a big round bale rolled off the truck. I thought I was done for when I hit the ground and broke three ribs! We laughed about it later.
I am sorry that from the 1990s until now that we drifted apart. Now that you have taken up your anchor here on this earth and anchored in a beautiful world, where some day we shall meet again, may I say thank you for the memories.
It was a great honor and privilege to have known Tony. Frances, our love goes out to you. The photos and biography posted by Caroline are wonderful... so much we did not know. It increases the joy that we feel from having known him. Love and support to your family at this difficult time. We look forward, in the Spring, to celebrating his life with joy.

I felt that I knew Tony a bit through his beloved Frances...my social work licensing coach who morphed into a dear friend! Frances and I talk via phone weekly....with few exception! Our conversations included Tony updates and occasional reflections of their life together. I could discern her deep love for him within seconds of her telling me about their travels, his farming accomplishments, and his family life. Frances would always say, "He is a great guy!" What a gift to have loved a great guy for 50 years! Frances and Caroline, though you will miss his physical presence, I know his love will remain with you always!
Sincerely...Diane Harvey
