Anthony Wade Brookman's Obituary
Anthony Wade Brookman, 44, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
Anthony was born in Charlottesville on March 13, 1973 to Betty Jean Brookman and George I. Brookman.
He worked in the roofing industry for most of his life. Anthony was a very dedicated and hard worker. He will be remembered as an incredibly loving father, who gave the biggest and best bear hugs. Anthony loved his family and friends and would always do his best to leave you smiling. He had a big heart and would step up to help anybody in need.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Betty Brookman; his father, George Brookman, Sr., his wife, Stephanie Brookman, his sons, Joshua Powell (Tiffany), Anthony “Tony” Brookman II, and Samuel Brookman, his daughter, Amber Brookman; three grandchildren, Zachary, Alexis and Kyle, three brothers, James Bailey (Barbara), George Brookman, Jr. (Kim), and Daniel Conley; seven nieces, Danielle, Shawna, Christina, Leah, Gabby, Lanayah and Kimberly; five nephews, Michael, Steven, Daniel, Jr., Brendan, and Austin; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many other loving extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where a funeral service will be held at noon on Friday, February 23, 2018. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church, 32250 Old Plank Rd, Locust Grove.
