Anna Mae Cooke's Obituary
Anna Mae Cooke, 82, of Culpeper died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born April 20, 1926 in Madison, Va to the late Luther B. Yowell and Mary Annie Campbell Yowell.
She was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat.
Mrs. Cooke is survived by her children, Roger L. Yowell and his fiancé, Sherry of Sperryville, Rev. Wayne Yowell and his wife, Kathy of Culpeper, Mary A. Conyers of Florence, SC, Jennifer G. Powers of Pigeon Forge, TN, and Nancy M. Pullen and her husband, Albert of Rixeyville, and one sister, Florabelle Aylor of Texas.
Additional survivors include sixteen grandchildren, Hope Jenkins and her fiance, Travis, Candy Bauer and her husband, Charles, Jennifer Pullen, Jack Pullen, Ricky Conyers and his wife, Nicole, Gary Yowell and his wife, Joia, Justin Yowell and his wife, Jenelle, Richard Yowell, Connie Taylor and her husband, Nick, Chris Yowell and his wife, Loretta, Christopher King, Michael King, Courtney King, Charles Powers, Tammy Montes, and Ashley Atkins, and seventeen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 12, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lee Brown and her son Rev. Wayne Yowell officiating.
Interment will follow in Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Jenkins, Mike Jenkins, Ricky Jenkins, Travis Meadows, Charles Bauer, Justin Yowell and Christopher King.
