Anna Sue Stanford's Obituary
Anna Sue Stanford, 65, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home.
She loved her family, especially her children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, attending all of her grandchildren’s sporting events, crocheting blankets, scrapbooking, holidays, decorating, and watching the Washington Redskins.
Anna is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Stanford; three children, Angela Shawaryn (Tommy) of Fredericksburg, Robby Stanford (Stacy) of Richmond, and Chrissy Johnson (Stephen) of Fredericksburg; her mother, Patricia Moy of Fredericksburg; her father, Pat Moy of South Carolina; sister, Patti Hayman (John); brothers, Bobby Moy of Fredericksburg and Randy Moy of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Thomas, Madison, Brooks, Stephen, Emma, Chase, and Cadance; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna and Randall Oden; and a granddaughter, Lilly Johnson.
Anna’s family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1009 Stafford Ave., Fredericksburg. Interment will be held at a later date.
