Anna Corrine Jenkins
Anna Corrine Jenkins, 89, of Lignum went to be with our loving Lord Jesus Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Meadowbrook Residential Care. She was born October 26, 1927 to the late Samuel and Matilda Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins was a devoted member of Lael Baptist Church for over 60 years and retired from the Lignum Post Office after 30 years of service. She enjoyed fishing at the pond on the farm, flower gardening and collecting.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela J. Hubbard and her husband, John of Lignum; one niece, Joyce Richards and a great nephew Johnny of Orange, a great niece Melanie of Utah. and many other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Jenkins after over 60 years of marriage and one sister, Dorothy L. Jenkins and her husband Eugene.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Lanny Horton and Evangelist Lillian Williams.
The family would like to express appreciation for all the love and care provided by the Williams Family, Melvin “Bob” Danner, and the Hatcher Family during her time while in the homestead. Also, thanks to all the caregivers at Meadowbrook Residential Care.
