Anna Ruth Elicker's Obituary
Anna Ruth Elicker, 93, passed away March 27, 2017 in Fredericksburg, VA. Originally from Harrisburg, PA, she was the youngest daughter of the late William and Carrie Kurtz.
Anna is survived by her three children: daughter, Sherry and John Chrepta, and sons, Roy and Marny Elicker, and Brad and Jackie Elicker; and many grandchildren.
In her youth, Anna was a talented radio singer and dancer who loved music, and even studied in New York City. Anna had a zest for life and found joy in participating in many clubs including the Masonic Eastern Star and Women of the Elks, Lions, and Moose. She also volunteered often for election voting polls and several veteran groups. Later she received her New Jersey Hairdressers Certification and sold Avon Cosmetics.
A founder of the Greenbrook-Bridgewater Garden Club, she loved flowers, arranging and gardening; and was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Dunellen.
Anna will be laid to rest by her beloved husband, Roy during a private ceremony at Hillside Cemetery in New Jersey.
She will be lovingly remembered as “Forever Young at Heart”!
