Anna Elizabeth Brown's Obituary
Anna Elizabeth Brown, 101, of Culpeper died Monday, July 29, 2019 at Dogwood Village of Orange. She was born December 10, 1917 in Madison to the late Ernest and Tabatha Yowell Hutcherson.
Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Culpeper and a member of Alum Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children, Kitty Utz of Culpeper, Cary M. “Pete” Brown, Jr. of Brandy Station, Roger L. Brown and his wife, Judy of Culpeper, and Russel Brown and his wife, Donna of Culpeper; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 27 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cary Meade “Bob” Brown; three siblings, Barbara Campbell, Linwood Hutcherson and James Hutcherson; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will be private with Rev. Perry Utz officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
