Ann Agnes Harrison's Obituary
Ann Agnes Harrison, 89, of Culpeper died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 26, 1927 in Queens, NY to the late William and Catherine Nallan Kerwick.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, took part in the Altar Society, Culpeper Women’s Club, and previously involved with the Windmore Foundation for the Arts. She was known for her artwork which was displayed throughout the community.
She is survived by her four children, James David Harrison, Sr. of Lucama, NC, Tim Harrison and his wife, Rhonda of Rocky Mount, NC, Dennis Harrison and his wife, Marsha of Vadelia, IL, and Georgette Hawkins and her husband, Earnie of Culpeper, VA; nine grandchildren, Kevin Harrison, Gerard Harrison, Crystal Ford, Andrew Hawkins, James Harrison, Michael Harrison, George Harrison, Teresa Chernay and Wayne Hawkins; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Harrison, Jr.; three brothers, William Kerwick, Jr., Edward Kerwick and Gene Kerwick; one grandson, Daniel Patrick Harrison; and daughter-in-law, Beverly Harrison.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E. Edmondson St., Culpeper, VA with Fr. Mark Moretti officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Her grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
