Ann Vaughan Hanback's Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Vaughan Hanback, 84, of Spotsylvania, died Friday, September 9, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. She was born February 15, 1927 in Culpeper to the late George Oscar Vaughan and the late Georgia Wilson Vaughan.
Ann adored animals and her pets and loved crafts. She took an interest in many pastimes that brought her comfort.
She is survived by a son, Floyd Lewis Jones, Jr. and his wife, Lana, of Stafford, and a daughter, Gloria Jones of Spotsylvania. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Anthony Jones and Floyd Lewis Jones, III, as well as, numerous other extended family, friends and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Aubrey Hanback, two sisters, Marjorie Green and Virginia Green, and a brother, William Vaughan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from noon until 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper with Rev. John S. Farar officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
