Ann and I became friends right away as volunteers at the then Navy Relief Society at MCB Kaneohe Bay, HI in the early 90's. She and Lee have been our good friends ever since, always keeping in touch over the years. Marine Wives are a special breed and Ann was the epitome of that. We "grew up" together juggling deployments and kids and wives' groups. Among many things, we shared our favorite color... navy blue...and were born in the same year. Mostly, we shared a friendship built on trust, our love of family, and the ins and outs Marine Corps life, even after our guys retired. Ann was a rock of kindness, hospitality, love and a true friend. Heaven is a better place now with Ann there. Missing you very much. Fair winds my friend.
Anne was a wonderful lady and friend. She subbed for me many times at the Middle School and did an excellent job. I will greatly miss her and the times we shared at that school. I am saddened to hear of her passing and my condolences to her family
With heartfelt condolences

Ann was one of my "go-to" substitutes for my 8th grade science classes. I could count on her to teach my students and hold them accountable in a caring way. I always felt at peace when she was my substitute. She was a part of our school community at Louisa County Middle School and she will be sorely missed. We loved Ann here at LCMS!
