Angela "Angie" Ruth Dawn Minor's Obituary
Angela “Angie” Ruth Dawn Minor, 46, of Spotsylvania Courthouse, died Monday, November 28, 2022 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born July 7, 1976 in Culpeper, VA.
Angie recently completed her Associate's degree summa cum laude from Germanna Community College in early childhood development. She began working on her Bachelor’s degree with Liberty University online. She loved working with the children at Community Ministries Childcare in Fredericksburg.
Angie is survived by her husband of 5 years, Curtis Minor; her parents, Jane and Kevin Carpenter, and Lawrence Rider; special friend, Katie Tester Silver (Joel), and their daughter, Angie’s Goddaughter, Willow; two brothers, Robert Rider (Shameen) and Warren Bradley (Kristen); one niece, Sydney Bradley; three special aunts, Ethel Weeks (Jim), Roxann Rosson (Larry), and Billie Jo Wright (Kevin); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James “Dadoo” and Betty Settle, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benny Kelly Minor, Sr., and Harriet B. Carter.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Rev. Timothy Minor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
