Andrew William Corbin's Obituary
Andrew William “Billy” Corbin, 53 of Reva, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Billy was born January 11, 1954 in Fauquier County to Thelma Bennett Corbin and the late Robert Lee Corbin.
Billy had been a salesman for Gilbert Implements for the past fifteen years and was presently with VA Tractor in Orange. Billy was well known for his hard work on the farms and hunting with his brothers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janet Kerr Jones Corbin of Reva, daughters, Leslie Clary and her husband, Alex of Athens, TN and Cheryl Butler and her husband, Jay of Madison, his son, Jason Woodward and his wife, Merri of Madison, grandchildren, Kimberly and Hunter Clary, Autumn Dormer, Emilee Woodward, Skylar Woodward, Jana Piszker, and Cole Butler.
Additional survivors include his brothers, Robert Lee Corbin, Jr. and his wife, Sue of Fayetteville, NC, Russell Corbin and his wife, Brenda of Culpeper, Wayne Corbin and his wife, Regina of Lignum, Terry “Bo” Corbin and his wife, Tena of Rixeyville, and Dennis Corbin of Reva, his sister, Patty Barfield and her husband, Charles of Culpeper, a very special friend, Stanley Hawkins, special nieces, Jodi Nicholson Weaver and Cierra Corbin, and special nephews, Jason Nicholson and Trey Settle, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Billy is now resting peacefully with his brother, Jerry Randell Corbin, and nephew, Daniel Wayne Corbin.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 8, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Alan McConnell officiating.
Interment will follow in Lael Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Bennett, Kenny Anderson, Stanley Hawkins, Keith Jenkins, Kirk Davis, Mike Coates, Doug Edwards, and Mike Massie.
Memorial contributions may be made in Billy’s name to Hospice of choice, Fire Department of Choice, and/or Lael Baptist Church Building Fund, Lignum, VA 22726.
