Elder Andrew McKenney was born to Reverend Corrie and Jessie Mae (Bradford) McKenney on October 4, 1954 in Darlington County, SC. He entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2023.
Elder McKenney was educated in Kershaw County, SC public schools. He was raised in a Christian home where he and his siblings were taught to love and worship God. At an early age he accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal savior.
On July 19,1974, He was united in Holy Matrimony to Barbara Miller. They remained married for 48 years
Elder McKenney served in the U.S. Army from 1972-1976.
He was employed in various jobs through Kershaw County, SC for 40 years and self-employed in Newport News, VA for over 20 years.
In addition to his parents Elder Andrew McKenney was preceded in death by his brother Reverend Corrie Jr., brother Minister Thomas McKenney, and sister Janice Jackson.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include: Jessie Mae (Cleveland/deceased) Redden, Lille Mae (David/deceased) Davis, Ruth (Willie) Bracey, Nathan (Annie) McKenney, Bertha (Benjamin) Webster, Lossie (John) Smith, Nathaniel (Loretta) McKenney, Matthew (Dorothy) Robinson , Deloise Missouri, Paul (Lori) McKenney, Samuel (Debra) McKenney, Ella Louise (Albert) Hunter, Mark McKenney, Terry (Cheryl) McKenney, David (Lusia) McKenney, Carol Anne McKenney, Arnold McKenney, Craig McKenney, Mabel Wright , a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
