I am so sorry for your loss of your son Andrew . I lost my baby boy Kevin, at 3 1/2 years old in 1998. My heart breaks for you. I am also The Compassionate Friends Fredericksburg Chapter Leader which is a self help support group for all bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents who have lost a child. Angie I just wanted to if you ever need to vent I'm here. We can scream together. You will never get over the loss of Andrew but you will learn to go on without him. You look at this life differently and you live differently. And I think that's what hurts the most. We live and they don't. You will laugh again and celebrate and feel guilty, it's part of who you are now. I truly wish you never had to deal with the loss of your Andrew and if I could absorb your pain I would. The hardest thing I've done was coming to your home! It brought all those memories back but as a mother who has been there I knew I had to reach out to you. You are in my every thought and prayers. Angie and John we are so sorry for ur loss. Andrew was definitely an awesome young man and would always put a smile on our faces and make us laugh. He will definitely be missed by many. We love u and we are right here if u need anything at all.
Dear Angie and John, I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful son with our family. He always had a big ol smile on his face. Christians childhood was just simply better because your son was in it. My favorite memory of Andrew is when we took the boys out riding their dirt bikes and the boys were tearing up the trails when they came across the a huge puddle. Christian went around it for fear of bogging down his bike but nope not Andrew he said he could do it. He said he would just fly right through. Lol that was Andrew fearless! He made it half way through and his bike just stopped lol he had to jump off in the water and he wasnt too happy. Christian went to help him and they both fell in they both laughed until they cried. But they got the bike out and everything was okay. So many memories of Andrew and Christian like the outdoor fish tank we kept with bass, turtles, sun fish, pretty much everything they caught. I will miss your son very much. He was one of a kind and we were blessed to have him part of our life. Rest easy Andrew.
