Anastasios Tselepis' Obituary
Anastasios Tselepis went to be with the Lord peacefully from his home on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the age of 89.
Anastasios was born in Lemnos, Greece, a small island where he loved being near the ocean fishing. Even after moving to the US for a better life he always yearned for his fishing days in Greece. He worked in the family restaurant but escaped as often as possible for trips back to Greece and then eventually purchased a vacation home in Virginia Beach. Now he is fishing with the greatest fisherman there ever was, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the fisher of men.
Anastasios is survived by his wife, Vaia Tselepis; his son, Christos Tselepis; his daughter, Heidi Pappas, and her husband, James Pappas.
He was preceded in death by his son, Argyris Tselepis; his father, Dimos Tselepis; his mother, Eleni Tselepis; his brothers, Costas and Peter Tselepis; and his sister, Stavroula Kolokoutronis.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, with Father John officiating. A graveside service will follow immediately after at Fairview Cemetery.
An online guestbook and tribute wall are available at www.foundandsons.com
