Alvin Lee Hall's Obituary
Alvin Lee Hall, 79, of Culpeper, died Saturday, May 22, 2021 at his residence. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Hillsborough, TX to the late Elmer and Lois Claunch Hall.
He was a retired veteran of the United States Army. After retirement he worked for R.L. Rider in Warrenton and James River Equipment in Manassas.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Martin Hall, his son, R.D. Martin and his wife, Cerrie, a granddaughter, Lily Martin, and a great grandson, Shawn Jenkins.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amber Lynn Martin.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 6pm to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. Due to Covid-19 mandates, a mask is required to enter the building.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Culpeper National Cemetery with honors provided by the US Army and VFW Post 2524.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
