Alta Corine Menefee's Obituary
At her home, Alta Corine Menefee, 75, of Culpeper, died Thursday, November 21, 2024. She was born January 22, 1949, in Culpeper to the late Boyd and Bessie Keyser.
Alta is survived by her daughter, Robin Settle; two grandchildren, Jerry Settle (Victoria) and Brittney Shifflett (Eric); four great-grandchildren, Savannah Shifflett, Wyatt Shifflett, Emery Settle, and Mason Settle; and five brothers, Harry Keyser, Roger Keyser, Ronnie Keyser (Cindy), Robert Keyser (Corinda), and David Keyser (Karla).
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by twelve siblings, Haywood Keyser, Charles Keyser, Ruth Mozingo, Frances Leake, Mary Keyser, Tucker Keyser, William Keyser, Gena Edwards, Betty Brightwell, Alize Berry, Gladys Backe, and Emma Lillard.
Per Alta’s wishes, there will be no service.
The family will hold a celebration of life on November 29, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Luigi's Italian Restaurant, 235 Southgate Shopping Center, Culpeper, VA.
