Allen James "Poe" Winston Jr.'s Obituary
Allen James “Poe” Winston, Jr., 67, of Henrico County Passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Symphony Manor.
Allen served in the US Army and was the owner of Manteo Cab Company in Manteo, NC.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Weaver of Henrico; a son, T.J. Winston and wife, Maritza of Stafford County; his mother, Betty Winston of Atlantic, Iowa; two brothers, Richard Winston and wife, Liz of Louisa and Mark Winston of Florida; three grandchildren, Summer Weaver, Fiona Winston and Hazel Winston.
Allen’s family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA.
In lieu of flowers, Allen’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2217 Princess Anne Street # 106-1F, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.
