Allen Craig Pratt's Obituary
Allen Craig Pratt (aka) Buster was born January 8, 1951 in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Allen & Ruth Pratt.
Allen attended Walker Grant School in Fredericksburg, VA. He was a painter by trade and had various hobbies. As a child Allen enjoyed building tree houses and go carts. As a teenager and young man he started raising and breeding German Shepherd dogs.
Allen is survived by his son, Covan Berryman of Laurel, MD; two granddaughters, Tasian Berryman of Alexandria, VA and Naomi Berryman of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters, Joyce Pratt Smith of Fredericksburg, VA, Lenora Pratt of Clinton, MD, and Maxine Pratt of Washington DC; his niece and longtime caregiver, Lydia (Sherry) Daniels; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, William Pratt (Billy), Ulysses Pratt (Tenny), Abraham Pratt (Tiny), Reginald Pratt (Reggie), Rufus Pratt (GenieBoy), and Chester Pratt (Chester); and two sisters, Lydia Stewart Pratt (Polly) and Ruth Pratt Owens (Gwenny).
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA.
