Allen C. King's Obituary
Allen C. King, 75 of Fredericksburg, VA passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord Jesus on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Stafford Hospital after battling Parkinson’s disease for over 20 years.
Mr. King was born February 3, 1943, in Sampson County NC, the son of G. Clarence and Olivia (Key) King. Allen worked for Guernsey Office Supply, Mighty Auto Parts, and Prince William County Schools before retirement. He was an avid sports fan and favorite teams were the Washington Redskins, Nationals, and Wizards, as well as the UNC Tar Heels. He loved the Lord Jesus and wanted all to know and understand the wonderful grace of God.
Allen was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Olivia King, beloved wife Karen C. King, brother Clarence H. King, sister-n-law R. Dimples King, nephew Richard E. King Jr., and great-granddaughter Alayna Lloyd.
He is survived by daughters Linda Jackson and Carla Jo King of Clinton NC, step-children Kevin Erisman of Berryville, VA, Kristine (Erisman) Martin and Karrie (Erisman) Helsley of Fredericksburg, VA, granddaughters Stephanie Carr, Wendy Hall, Jessie Herring and Katie Jackson and step-grandchildren Kevin Erisman Jr., Daniel, Sean and Thomas Erisman, Samantha and Logan Helsley, as well as 7 great-grandchildren, brother Richard E. King Sr., and step-sister Deloris Bonpetro.
Family and close friends will celebrate his life in a private ceremony after the first of the year.
