Alice Stuart Orren
Alice Stuart Orren, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Birmingham Green in Manassas.
Alice was a previous resident of Dumfries, VA for over 30 years.
Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband Fred Lee Orren and a son Robert Stephen Holyfield. Survivors include daughters, Nancy Marie Crowell, husband Ray of Daytona Beach, FL; Fran Cornwell of Catlett, VA; son, Greer Franklin Holyfield, Jr. of Pensacola, FL; twelve grandchildren, and many loved great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her siblings, Jackie Abel, Monroe Thurston, Andy Thurston, Mildred Marbaker, John Thurston, Betty Taylor, Fred Thurston and Donald Thurston.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2009 from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. Inurnment service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 10:00 am at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
