Alice H. Kniseley's Obituary
Alice Haley Kniseley, born August 25, 1928 in Princeton West Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital, spending her final days in the comfort of her family.
She was the daughter to Robert and Mary Haley, former wife to Eugene W. Kniseley and sister to Aileen F Haley, all of whom have preceded her in death.
Alice was a full-time mother to her five children, worked as a secretary for years before retiring at the age of 62, when she went back to work as a tax preparer for H&R Block. She worked there for another 20 years before retiring for good at the age of 82.
She is survived by her sons Gary E. Kniseley and Donald A. Kniseley (Kendal); her daughters, Jean Marie Kniseley, Christine Kniseley Meadows (Mark) and Maxine C. Kniseley (Neill); her beloved sister’s children, her nephew, Michael Sacaletti (Lynn) and niece Cindy Walsh (John); 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mary Washington Hospice, 2300 Fall Hill Ave #401, Fredericksburg Va 22401.
