Alice Marie Kennedy's Obituary
Alice Marie Kennedy, 74, of Culpeper passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1945 in Glendale, CA to the late William and Mary Scott Shaw.
Alice was a member of the Culpeper Red Hat Society and the Madison County Quilters Guild.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Kennedy; four children, Michael Ray Velek and his wife, Mary, William Robert Velek and his wife, Erum, Matthew Kennedy and his wife, Jess, and Caitlin Kennedy; her twin brother, Thomas William Shaw and his wife, Judy; four grandchildren, Adam Jay Velek, Megan Velek, Courtney Velek and Jack Velek; and sister-in-law, Linda McFarland and her husband, Lee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half-brother, Ray Edmond Lewis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating.
A time of fellowship will be held at the funeral home immediately following the service.
