Alice H. Cox's Obituary
Alice Henriette Cox, 93, of Fredericksburg and formerly of Washington, D.C., passed away at Amerisist of Orange on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012.
Alice is survived by her son, Philip Cox of Maryland; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her loving family members in France.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Philip Cox.
Alice’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Services, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Quantico National Cemetery, located at 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle.
In lieu of flowers, Alice’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations in her name to the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
