Alice Vaughan Arrington's Obituary
Alice Vaughan Arrington, 102 of Reva, died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at her residence.
Alice was born September 19, 1908 in Prince William County to the late William A. Vaughan and Teressa Smith Vaughan.
Alice is survived by her two daughters; Mildred A. Williams of Leon and Evelyn M. Townsend of Culpeper, four grandchildren; Lloyd Williams and his wife Diané of Leon, Myra Ellrich and her husband William of Auburn, Maine, Vernon Kilburn Allred of Florida and Vivian Allred of Reva. Four great grandchildren; Jason Williams and Jennifer Williams both of Richmond and Virgil Willis and Chareece Meola, both of Florida and eleven great-great grandchildren.
Alice is also survived by one sister, Ethel M. Davis of Dumfries and many other extended family, friends and loved ones.
In addition to her parents Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Washburn R. Arrington and two sisters Myrtle L. Redmond and Marie M. Plarr and her one brother, Robert L. Vaughan, one son in law, Ezelle Williams and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 2-4pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels in Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Stonewall Memory Gardens 12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, with Pastor Tim Duggins officiating.
