Alfred was an amazing person. That is the only way I know how to describe him. He was always there for me and my family and there is nothing Alfred wouldn't of done for us. He was a true blessing. When he first came to GDC we hit it off and became the Best of friends. I can remember many of nights he would come by the house to grab a shower, a bite to eat and of course a nap. His famous last words were always " I'll be here in the morning" Yea, right. We never heard him leave in the middle of the night, and he always made sure the door was locked. :-) We could always count on Alfred to be at the house for Holiday Dinners. He sure did love my Sweet Potatoe Pie and he sure could eat. :-) You will forever be in my heart, their father's heart, and will forever be in my children's hearts. You were their Godfather and they sure do love you, as do I, my friend. You will forever hold a special place in my heart.
My prayers and blessings go out to all those that were blessed to have Alfred as a friend. Alfred was always very good to me, and taught me everything I knew about being a truck driver. We always stopped at the country store to get our coffee. He will be missed.

It's always a shock to learn that someone you've known for years has passed. The one thing I do remember about Glen was that he loved his only son Glendale, Jr. aka Baby Glen or Little Glen. When I would stop by their house the Glens would be playing Atari or some other game. Glen also loved music, dogs and cars!. I remember my car was being and repaired and I had to get to work. He let me drive his deuce and a quarter. That was 1982. I was use to smaller cars. It may as well have been a tractor trailer, I could hardly keep it in one lane. Glen will forever be in my memories! God rest his soul!
