Alfred Charles Leibundguth
Alfred Leibundguth of Lodi, New Jersey, Tampa Florida, Atlanta Georgia, and most recently, Arlington Virginia passed away on Friday October 10, 2008. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Angelina, his daughter Madeleine Haney Holm, and his parents Charles and Maeleine Leibundguth, and his brother Dr. Henry Leibundguth of Evansville, Indiana. He is survived by his daughter Barbara Hatch of Haymarket, Virginia and Alfred DiGeronimo of Montgomery Township, New Jersey, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Leibundguth worked for Continental Can Company for 35 years retiring in 1975. He then worked for DeKalb County (GA) for 10 years, retiring in 1986.
He was an Eagle Scout in Bergen County N.J. Mr. Leibundguth was an active member of the Free Mason serving as Master of the Passaic Lodge #67 in N.J. in the 1950’s.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Capital Hospice of Gainesville Viginia or St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Monday October 13, 2008 from 3-5 pm at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road Manassas Virginia 20109. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2008 at 10 am at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel.
