Albert Cecil Lacy's Obituary
Albert Cecil Lacy, 70, of White Plains MD, formerly of Brandy Station passed away peacefully on Sunday April 12, 2015 at his home. He was born March 24, 1945 in Culpeper to the late James and Essie Moody Lacy.
Mr. Lacy was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Brandy Station. He was an accomplished carpenter who enjoyed building anything you can imagine. He loved golf, making up funny stories and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Martha Lewis Lacy; two children, Preston Dale Lacy and his wife, Kara of Gainesville and Elaine Lacy Stephens and her husband, Michael of White Plains, MD; and three siblings, Virginia Carter of Brandy Station, Robert Lacy and his wife, Carol of Manassas, and Fred Lacy and his wife, Mildred of Riverdale, MD.
Additional survivors include ten grandchildren, Corey Lillard, Jazmyne Stephens, Nina Stephens, Darius Bryant, Syvana Lacy, Ariana Bryant, Maya Stephens, Preston Lacy, Jr., Jaylin Simms and Malai Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews and two best friends, Daniel Hutcherson and Oscar Kay.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11 am at Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Rd., Rixeyville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
