Albert Lee Breeden's Obituary
Albert Lee Breeden, 72, of Stevensburg died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 15, 1940 in Dry Ridge, KY to the late Sterling and Helen Beatrice Lucas Breeden.
Mr. Breeden was a member of Stevensburg Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren and the time he spent with them, he was a man known to many to be “short and sweet and to the point”.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanette Rose Breeden; three children, Albert R. Breeden and his wife, Jackie L. of Madison County, Robert S. Breeden and his wife, Tammy L. of Stevensburg, and Jennifer L. Breeden Grimm and her husband, Jonathan W. of Louisa County; two siblings; Joyce A. Tomlin and her husband, Billy of Grant County, KY and Libby E. Jackson and her husband, Tim of Grant County, KY, brother-in-law, Robert Wainscott of Pennelton County, KY; two neighbors whom he considered daughters, Loretta A. and Rose Tyler, both of Stevensburg; and his cousin who was raised with him as his sister, Brenda Colson and her husband, Tommy of Grant County, KY.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren; Albert L. Breeden of Madison County, Robben A. Smith and her husband, Franklin of Tom Brooks, VA, Toby S. Breeden of Stevensburg and Daisey L. Grimm of Louisa County, and two great grandchildren James R. and Pamela R. Smith, his neighbor’s daughter whom he also considered to be a grandchild, Jaz-mine L. Jenkins of Stevensburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Edna Breeden, two siblings, Joann Wainscott and Donald R. Hensley and one granddaughter, Samantha L. Breeden.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 2 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Philip Walker officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
