Alan Cox
Alan Lamar Cox, 33, passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was born May 22, 1975 in Mesa, Arizona.
Alan loved farming, tractors and fishing with his brother and father. He was a loving, husband, father, son and brother. He loved more than anything spending time with his daughter, Alyssa.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Williams Cox; one daughter, Alyssa Cox; one brother, Andy Cox; one sister, Sara Ingram and his mother Tina Leonard.
His family will receive friends Friday, December 5, 2008 from 7:00~9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel ~ Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. A funeral service will be held at Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church, 8330 Fletchers Chapel Road, King George, VA 22485, Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 10:00 am. Rev. Elfie Finn-McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.
