Alan C. Watson's Obituary
Alan Watson, 60, of Spotsylvania, passed away Saturday November 27, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Milton and Margaret Ford, of Spotsylvania, a daughter, Sharon Hall and her husband, Albert, two sons, Shane and his partner Jennifer Wills, and David, all of Spotsylvania, a step brother, Tommy Ford, of Baltimore, and six grandchildren, all of Spotsylvania.
Alan is preceded in death by a step-brother, Stephen Ford.
He was passionate about cars, a model car collector, an avid Nascar fan and loved his cat “Smokey.”
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Hager officiating. Interment will follow in Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 11007 West Catharpin Road, Spotsylvania VA 22553 or Mary Washington Hospice 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg VA 22407.
