Adrian "Andy" Anthony Buffong's Obituary
Adrian Anthony Buffong, affectionally known as Andy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 with his children, Adriana and Brandon by his side.
Andy was born on March 6, 1966, in Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands to Jenita Abrams (White) and Abraham Buffong. He spent his early years in Antigua before his family relocated to New York City, eventually settling in Queens, New York where he grew up and built a life rooted in hard work, perseverance, and love for family.
A proud graduate of Flushing High School in Queens, Andy quickly worked his way into management positions and, through his determination and entrepreneurial spirit, went on to own his own copying company in Manhattan, Legal Reproductions. For many years, he served as an Office Service Manager at the law firm Lerch, Early & Brewer in Bethesda, Maryland, where he was admired for his professionalism, dedication, and kindness.
Outside of work, Andy enjoyed cooking, listening to music, fishing, watching movies, and spending quality time with his children, grandchildren, and family. He was happiest when surrounded by those he loved, sharing laughter, good food, and stories that brought everyone together.
Andy is survived by his cherished children, daughter, Adriana Ford, and her husband, Eric Ford, and son, Brandon Buffong; his beloved grandchildren, Eric Ford Jr., Cameron Ford, and Sage Ford, who brought endless joy to his life; his loving life partner, Sylvina Acloque; niece, Shequana Shepherd, and her husband, Paul Shepherd; nephews, Selworth Smith and Michael Malik White; great-nieces, Shanteas Diggs, Shaniya Jeffries, Kharizma Smith, and Maia White; great-nephews, Malachi Jeffries and Payden Shepherd; and a host of extended aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Buffong and Jenita Abrams (White); and his brothers, Selworth HilRoy Ricardo White and Michael Charlesworth White.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
Andy will be remembered as a devoted father and a kind-hearted, hardworking, and selfless man who touched countless lives through his generosity and compassion. His legacy of love, resilience, and strength will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. May he rest in eternal paradise.
