Adam Snead Atkins' Obituary
Adam Snead Atkins, 56, of Culpeper passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Novant UVA Health Systems Culpeper Hospital. He was born March 13, 1965, to Daisy Whorton Atkins and the late Alpheus Snead Atkins, Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Ginger Goff; son, Coty Atkins (Haley Dover); siblings, Angela Suthard (Rick), Alpheus Atkins, Jr. (Eva), and Kennie Atkins; granddaughter, Madalynn Atkins; special friends, Ronnie and Nora Lee; Colby Pories, Jesse Powell, Cassandra Stanley (Justin), Clifford and Beth Kearns, George Rulapaugh, and Craig Wood; nieces and nephews, Dustin Gallimore (Kim), Eric Giles (Sara), Elizabeth Settle (Jesse), Hannah Atkins, Sarah Atkins, M. Faye Atkins, Lydia Atkins, and Wilson Atkins. Adam is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, Adam is preceded in death by his uncle Ricky Lee Atkins and paternal grandparents, Wilson and Vilonie Atkins.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. Facial coverings are required to enter the building.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S West Street, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Alpheus Atkins, Jr. officiating. Live stream available at

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
