    Dwayne Alfonso Brock

    March 8, 1971 - January 27, 2022

    Dwayne Alfonso Brock was born March 8, 1971 in Washington, D.C to the late George Newman and Claudette Natasha Brock. Dwayne joined the Canaan Baptist Church at a young age, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. J.A. Holmes. Dwayne received his education from the Culpeper County School System. Dwayne was employed with Home Deport in Warrenton, VA for several years. After having a stroke he was unable to work any longer. Dwayne made sure he enjoyed his life to the fullest and always enjoyed being with the family for annual cookouts and holiday functions. Dwayne leaves his loved and cherished memories to his three children, Zanie Ravis of Tempe, Arizona, Anaya Johnson of Orange, Virginia, and Draylon Brock of Dallas, Texas, stepmother JoAnn Brock, siblings Derric Brock of Reva, Virginia, Natasha and Crystal Brock of Culpeper, Virginia, two stepbrothers Michael Rivas (Erica) of Rhoadesville, Virginia and Mitch (Wendy) of Rhoadesville, Virginia, one nephew Derric Brock, Jr of Virginia Beach, Virginia, one niece Monet Walker of Culpeper, Virginia, two aunts Mary Simpson of Columbia, South Carolina, Francean Coward of Culpeper, Virginia, one uncle John Brock (Sharon) of Rapidan, Virginia, two great aunts Kathleen Brock of Reva and Violet Gibson of Culpeper, Virginia and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents Dwayne was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Porter B. and Hattie S. Johnson and his paternal grandparents, George E. and Marjorie M. Brock. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 4 pm at Found and Sons Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Minister Tammy Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Due to Covid -19, Masks are required to enter the building.
