Dear Mrs Reynolds & family
What a surprise to see an obituary for a friend of mine from long ago and to see that we both lived in South Windsor. I attended Nasonville Grammar School with Charlie and remember him as a good friend at the time. We both went our different paths and I had no idea where he might be..let alone living in the same Town for 40 years. My wife (the former Evelyn Francis)also comes from Mohegan and was in the same grade with me all thru school. We have lived in So Windsor since 1962. I am a member of the Public Building Commission in Town and have met both Phil Crombies thru that activity, but of course I had no idea that Phil Jr was related to Charlie. What a strange world.
