‘Perpetual Care’ usually refers to what is also called Permanent Care or Endowment Care. These funds are collected by cemeteries at the time an interment space is purchased and are used to maintain cemetery grounds, roads, and buildings.

Yes. Urn vaults are available and are designed for in-ground burial of cremated remains when required by a cemetery. We can help you understand the options accepted by your chosen cemetery.
- No, embalming is not required for burial. It is always your choice. Your decision may depend on such factors as whether the family selected a service with a public viewing of the body with an open casket; or to enhance the deceased's appearance for a private family viewing; or if the body is going to be transported by air or rail, or because of the length of time prior to the burial.

In most areas of the country, state or local laws do not require that a container surround the casket in the grave. However, many cemeteries require such a container to prevent the ground from settling. Either a grave liner or burial vault typically satisfies those cemetery requirements

Mausoleum burial is an option offered by some cemeteries. Mausoleum crypts are clean and dry and can appeal to families who prefer above-ground interment. In areas with limited land availability, mausoleums allow cemeteries to accommodate more interments within a smaller footprint.
- A columbarium, often located within a mausoleum, chapel or in a garden setting, is constructed with numerous small compartments (niches) designed to hold urns containing cremated remains.
