    Pauline S. Koinskie

    August 26, 1930 - January 29, 2022

    Pauline S. Koinskie of Culpeper, formally from Lewes, Delaware and Brookhaven, Pennsylvania died Saturday, January 29, 2022 in her home with her family by her side. She was 91. Mrs. Koinskie was born August 26, 1930, in Chester Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Wolski. Mrs. Koinskie was a graduate of Chester High School in Chester, Pennsylvania. Pauline went to work at T. Frank McCalls and then went on to work at Crozer Chester Medical Center where she retired from in 1986. Formally from Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, after her retirement, she and her husband moved to Lewes, Delaware where she enjoyed her beach home, playing cards with family and friends, going to the casino, playing BINGO and BINGO trips, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Pauline also enjoyed volunteering at the Elks Lodge 2340, in Lewes, Delaware, where her husband was a member and a past exalted ruler. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Koinskie Sr., her parents Michael and Mary Wolski, brothers Walter Wolski and his wife Casmira, Harry Wolski and Dennis Wolski, nephews Gregory Wolski, Jeffrey Wolski and Christopher Wolski, niece Tina Wolski, great nephew Peter Wolski and great grandson Gavin Honaker. She is survived by her son, Edward J. Koinskie Jr. and his wife Judy of Greer, South Carolina; and her daughter Denise M. Honaker and her husband James of Culpeper, Virginia; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A celebration of life will take place at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
