    Myron Lewis Hardy

    October 13, 1950 - February 22, 2022

Myron Lewis Hardy Sr. slipped his earthly bonds Tuesday, 22 Feb 2022. We all take comfort in knowing he went peacefully in his sleep at home. Anyone who knew Myron would tell you, he had a personality that was bigger than life, bigger than himself and that's a tall order because he was already a big man! When he stepped into a room everyone knew he was there as the energy would shift to one of excitement and joy with his presence. I'm not sure if he knew it or not but he was a Wizard and his magic was the gift of spreading love, laughter and joy to everyone around him! He was many things to many people, a Loving Father and Pappy, a Big Brother and a Funny Uncle, a Caring Partner and a Loyal Friend. There is no doubt that he leaves behind a big hole in our lives and also some very big shoes to fill, maybe we could find a Yeti that needs a pair of sweet kicks to rock, we could hook him up! I'd like to think he would laugh at that last line, sounds like something he might have come up with to say and make us laugh. It's no secret that we Hardy's are big on family and Myron was no exception, he couldn't love his family more and nothing in the world meant more to him than sharing his love with us all! We were all blessed to have him be a part of our lives! So when you think of him, share a story or a joke and a ol' big hug like he would have done so we can all keep spreading that joy and love in his memory. He was 71 years young and was born in Arlington, VA to Mary Lemay & Jack Hardy on Oct 13 1950 and was their eldest of their children. He was preceded in death by both his parents, his youngest Brother Josey Hardy and third wife, Lynn Johnson-Hardy. He is survived by his Son Myron Lewis Hardy Jr. (Michele Hardy), Grandchildren Alexis, Brandon and Caleb Hardy, Step-Son David Hardy, Brothers Terry Hardy, Carl Hunt and Marty Hardy, Sisters Michelle Congleton and Rosemary Broadhurst, Life Partner Julie Tegi, and many Nieces, Nephews and other loving family members. Chapel Services will be held at Found and Sons 10719 Courthouse Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 on 25 Feb 2022 at 2:00pm and a Celebration of Life will follow at the Franconia Moose Family Center 7701 Beulah St, Alexandria, VA 22315
