    Johnnie Mack Brown

    July 24, 1955 - February 2, 2022

    Johnnie Mack Brown, age 66, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on 2 February 2022, at Mary Washington Hospital. Johnnie was born 24 July 1955 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital and raised in Stevensburg, VA. He attended Culpeper County Public Schools and graduated from CCHS where he was a star athlete. Johnnie worked as a supervisor all his career and spent most of his time as a supervisor for Merillat Industries Inc where he was very dedicated and loved his job. Johnnie is remembered as being passionate about his work and a lover of all things sports related. Johnnie was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Brown Jr., mother, Rebecca Mack Brown and sister, Tammy Brown-Walker. Johnnie is survived by his three daughters, Tracy Clark and her husband Robert of Tampa, FL, Yolanda Brown and her fiancé Dontavis of Fredericksburg, VA and Kelley Gholson and her husband Dontae’ of Harrisonburg, VA; two sisters, Sheila Jones and her husband Kevin of Fredericksburg, VA and Karen Brown of Fredericksburg, VA; one brother Preston Oliver Brown and his wife Tasha of Culpeper, VA; grandchildren, Bri Porter, Jonathan Fincham, Christina Fincham, Derrick Bowles, Dimitrios Bowles, Davian Bowles, Amirah Cainion, Jalalah Cainion, Dorien Gholson and Kamille Gholson; three great- grandchildren, Aubree Fincham, Justin Cayton-Fincham and Alejandro Ramos; and a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other family and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Home (850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper VA) from 1pm to 2pm on Sunday, 13 February 2022. Immediately followed by a celebration of life from 2pm to 3pm with Rev. James Mack officiating. The family would like to invite those unable to attend to join via livestream at https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1644283844165225 Due to Covid 19, masks are required to enter the building. Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
